Challenge:
Hillcrest Medical Center and its architecture firm, HFG Architecture, approached Interior Logistics about a significant remodel of their 6th-floor wing. This critical project required the development of 6 additional NICU rooms to be fast-tracked to meet the client’s deadline.
Solution:
The aggressive construction schedule necessitated an innovative method of construction that conventional construction could not provide. Interior Logistics provided Hillcrest with a robust and future-proof solution that improved the schedule and offered future facility flexibility and inherent infection control capabilities.
Throughout the project, Interior Logistics collaborated closely with HFG Architecture to design a customized DIRTT headwall solution tailored to Hillcrest’s unique requirements.Leveraging our proprietary ICE virtual software, we provided Hillcrest and HFG with clear, accurate, and fully-detailed drawings, giving them a clear picture of the finished product in advance.
Results:
Interior Logistics efficient project management and collaboration with the architect, contractor, and trades ensured this high-priority and high-profile assignment was executed ahead of schedule. The custom DIRTT headwalls were produced and delivered to the job site in less than three weeks from design approval. Installation was completed in just three days with certification soon after.
We’re confident that DIRTT’s modular and highly adaptable solution will provide Hillcrest with maximum flexibility and nominal downtime during any future modifications and repairs.
